My Wonderful Mom!

I don't think that I have ever doubted that I have a pretty special mother. But, today she proved to me once again that she will help out in anyway she can. I have always had the best example of what a mother should be like. And because of her, I believe that I can be a great mother for my son!! My mom is so special she's like a best friend to me. She competly is devoted to making sure I feel loved and that I can talk to her about anything.

Today, she watched Hayden for me so that I could go to work. Because both Erik and I couldn't afford to take anymore time off from work considering we both were gone from our jobs nearly two weeks. The short recap is that my son had RSV over last weekend, and was hospitalized for 2 days. The recommendation from the doctors was to keep him home for about a week to fully recover.

I got the update from my mom because she took him to the doctor's office. His lungs were clear and that he was ok to go back to daycare. But, he did lose some weight with being sick and all he was 13 lbs and 8 oz. He was nearly 16 lbs before he was sick. But, I'm sure he will gain it back soon since he's back up to eating about 6 oz each feeding.

I just thought it was so wonderful that she did that for Erik and I!
